Their individual stories and observations prepare the way for a celebratory dinner during which the women share their dishes and experiences with each other. This documentary is the third that Strauss has presented at the Box Factory. Previously shown were "Donut Day: 24 Hours at Sweetwater's" and "Los Bandits: More than a Tex-Mex Band." The filmmaker will attend the screening.

In this new DVD by filmmaker Don Hermanson of Keweenaw Video Productions, ship captains and crew members, Coast Guard personnel, lighthouse keepers and many others give their theories and opinions about the S.S. Edmund Fitzgerald's demise. Copies of the DVD will be available for purchase.

All three galleries will exhibit work by members with the Riverwalk Gallery transformed into a Transpo Hub complete with model railroads, planes and automobiles. From 1 to 3pm, studio artist Susan Schirmer and Carousel Society author Chris Knuth will present a reading and book signing of their new book based on Noel, one of the St. Joseph Carousel horses. This is the premiere of "How Noel Saved Christmas."
Live musical entertainment featuring members of Riversong Music Society; John Tolhuizen with his kids "jingle bell chorus;" and the hand bell duo of Brittany Ego and Sarah Reiff. Bob Phillips will give a talk at 2 pm about "Christmas and Model Railroading." Punch and cookies will be available and Culin'Arte Caffe will be open with special food and drinks. Special one-of-a-kind gifts are available in the Art Shoppe. Decorations provided by Crystal Springs florists.

Event Description: Deck your halls and trees this year with hand-blown glass and ornaments from Water Street Glassworks Annual Holiday Glass Sale.

Shoppers can choose from an array of functional and decorative glass art, created by students and faculty of the school. While at WSG, visitors can also warm up on the catwalk and watch glass ornaments and objects being created live or enjoy seasonal flavors of gelato or hot fresh coffee from Water Street GelatoWorks next door. The proceeds from this annual sale help fund programming.

Event Description: Chicago City Limits is New York City's legendary improv comedy show. Chicago City Limit's special holiday show, Revenge of the Reindeer, is a combination of comedy sketches, song parodies, and improvisations created on the spot from audience suggestions. The Chicago City Limits cast will add a little perspective on the trials and tribulations of the past year to the "Ho, Ho, Ho" of the Christmas season.
