We are a hands-on interactive museum developed to inspire curiosity and wonder while stimulating learning, imagination, exploration, and role playing in a child's world.Description With over 35 hands-on features, a day of fun, imagination and exploration awaits at the Curious Kids' Discovery Zone. Create imagery and art with a giant pinwall or watch dance moves come alive with color in the Virtual Reflections Room. Be a rock climber on a true climbing wall designed for children. Explore the nature of water flow and pressure by building intricate and unique pipe mazes at the Water Works exhibit, or sail a boat with wind and wave and learn about Lake Michigan and its might, past and present. Climb to new heights in the Lighthouse Climbing Tower, an almost 20 foot tall climbing structure with a pinnacle view of Lake Michigan from the porthole window inside. Join us for a day of wonder and exploration. Handicap accessible. No pets (seeing-eye exception). DirectionsFrom the south, Exit 23 (I-94), follow Lakeshore Dr north to downtown St Joseph, turn left on Port St, go to the stop sign and turn right. Road will wind down to Silver Beach Center.
