Atoms splitting to release immense energy. We harness that energy at the Cook Nuclear Plant to generate and transmit 2.1 million kilowatts of electricity to thousands of consumers. Yet, outside this technological powerhouse is the simpler, yet equally powerful, world of nature. Acorns fall to the forest floor and grow to mighty oaks. Grains of sand form towering dunes.
