At Big Dan's U-Pick'Em and Farm Market, we raise the best fruits and vegetables possible. Our fruits are ripened on the tree for the best flavor and taste. Join us and experience the family farm atmosphere with one of our free weekend hayrides in September and October to u-pick apples and pumpkins. There is nothing quite as wonderful as a tasty farm fresh juicy peach or crisp apple!
You can u-pick peaches daily from August to early September. We grow six different varieties of peaches.
U-pick for apples is available from mid-August to mid-October. We grow 14 different varieties of apples throughout the apple season.
We always have a fresh supply of our fruit available in our farm market for those who are not interested in u-pick.
In addtion to peaches, apples and pumpkins, we also have available depending on the time of the season, farm fresh vegetables, apple cider, caramel apples, mums, squash, gourds, Indian corn, jams and jellies, Michigan honey and Michigan maple syrup.
We offer free recipes that use our farm fresh fruits and vegetables.

Hillside Orchard grows Apples, Peaches, Sweet Cherries, Apricots, Nectarines for wholesale and retail sales. Fruit is available in season at the farm, at South Bend Farmer's Market and at various Chicago farmer's markets. Apples are available from our cold storages and controlled atmosphere (C.A.) storages during the winter months. Apple varities are Lodi, Earlimac, Earligold, Red Free, Paula Red, Macintosh, Jonathan, Red and Yellow Delicious, N. Spy, Rome, Idared, Empire, Winesap, future varieties are Cala and Honey Crisp.

Our farm market is literally seconds off of I-94 and on your way to the beautiful Silver Beach in Saint Joseph. We provide most Michigan grown fruits and vegetables. We grow our own raspberries, peaches, pears, plums, apples, grapes and vegetables. All other produce is provided by neighboring growers while in season. Our convenient pitter facility allows guests to wash, sort and pit their cherries before leaving the farm.
Tree-Mendus Fruit Farm has special regard for the cherry pits. As home of the world-renowned International Cherry Pit Spitting Championship the first Saturday in July, we not only pit'em - we spit'em too!

Enjoy the tastes of the season's fruits in a convenient location! Tree-Mendus Fruit Farm Stand is located in the Round Barn Winery Union Pier Tasting Room just off I-94 at exit 6 in Michigan. We offer fruit and cider for sampling. Various specialty products, cider and fruit picked in the cool of the morning are available for purchase. For larger quantities, place a pre-paid order by 5pm the evening prior and it will be available for pickup by 11am the following day (Friday through Monday).
