If you love golf, you understand what a difference it makes to play on a course that is professionally maintained in pristine condition. You know how it feels to step up to your ball with a perfect lie in a freshly mowed fairway. To hear the sound of crisply struck shots echoing through oak trees. You've seen a putt roll true and hold its line all the way into the cup. If you love golf, you'll love Berrien Hills Golf Club.
Since the 1920s this has been one of southwest Michigan's premium country clubs. Now Berrien Hills is open to the public but retains both the golfing status and excellent condition that make it an experience to remember. Gently rolling, but tight fairways and fast, sloping greens make Berrien Hills much tougher than the yardage leads you to believe. Try to overpower the course and you're in for a rude awakening. Patient strategy, accurate ball striking and a deft putting touch are the keys to scoring on this tree-lined classic layout.
