I-94, EASTBOUND AND WESTBOUND

STARTS MARCH 11

Work in 2024 will rebuild 3 miles of eastbound and westbound I-94 from Puetz Road (mile marker 22.5) to Washington Avenue (mile marker 25.5), including bridges over Red Arrow Highway at Exit 23.

Two lanes of I-94 will be open in each direction throughout the work. Expect slowdowns during peak summer months.

The detour for the westbound I-94 ramp to Red Arrow Highway will take you on John Beers Road Exit 22 to Red Arrow Highway.

QUICK OVERVIEW FOR THE NEXT THREE YEARS

The Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) has begun a three-year, $204 million investment to improve and build a longer-lasting I-94 in Southwest Michigan. In 2024, MDOT will work from Puetz Road to Washington Avenue. The work in 2025 and 2026 will be from Washington Avenue to Britain Avenue.

MDOT will repair nine bridges between Puetz Avenue in Stevensville and Washington Avenue in Berrien County.
